# OG Benefits

What you get for being among the first 20.

## Permanent BETA Badge

A green **BETA** chip displays next to your username forever. See [The BETA Badge](/market-and-locker/beta-badge.md).

## Free Market Items During Beta

Every market item is granted to your account for free during the beta period. This lets you experience the full cosmetic system without spending SOL. Beta-granted items are wiped at public launch — but see [Beta-to-Launch Migration](/closed-beta/migration.md) for what you get in exchange.

## Direct Feedback Channel

OG testers have direct line to the founder via our Telegram support topic. We respond fast. Your feedback directly shapes the public launch.

## OG Identity Forever

When Snake OS scales to thousands of players, the 20 BETA badges become a closed historical artifact. You'll be recognizable as part of the original cohort in every leaderboard, friends list, and chat from now to forever.

## Implicit Airdrop Signal (Post-Launch)

We will prioritize BETA OGs for any future drops via treasury buyback distributions. This is not a promise of a specific amount — it's an alignment statement. The 20 OGs were there before there was anything to gain. That earns recognition.

## Earlier Access to New Features

Future features (more games, governance, mobile app) will roll out to OGs first for feedback before wider release.

## What You Don't Get (Just to Be Clear)

* ❌ Pre-allocated the tokens (none exist; fair launch)
* ❌ Discount on future market items (everyone pays the same SOL post-launch)
* ❌ Skip the participation gate (OGs still need to be active participants to claim tokens)
* ❌ Privileged treatment in PvP outcomes (skill only; we'd never)
* ❌ Admin powers (those are wallet-allowlisted separately)

OG status is recognition, not exemption.
