# What is Snake OS?

Snake OS is a Solana-based on-chain game wearing the skin of a Nokia 3310. The phone has **18 apps** ranging from the classic Snake game to a real-time pump.fun migrations feed to an AI risk scanner for memecoin contracts.

## The Three Loops

Snake OS has three reinforcing gameplay loops:

### 1. The Skill Loop (Snake + PvP)

Play solo to learn the game. When you're ready, wager real SOL in PvP against another player. Winner takes 95% of the combined pot. Skill compounds: better players win more.

### 2. The Economy Loop (Market + Locker + Treasury)

Buy cosmetic items in the market with SOL — skins, arenas, badges, powerups. Equip them in your Locker. Every market purchase + PvP fee flows into the treasury, which (post-launch) funds token buybacks and prize pools.

### 3. The Discovery Loop (DEGEN + SNIPE + ORACLE + MARKET WATCH)

Built-in Solana memecoin tools. DEGEN shows pump.fun migrations live. SNIPE tracks notable KOL wallet trades. ORACLE scans any token contract for rug risk. MARKET WATCH shows charts for the majors.

Together these turn Snake OS from "a game" into a **retro phone-OS for on-chain everything**.

## Who It's For

* Solana players who want skill-based wagering, not pure gambling
* Memecoin traders who want a single dashboard for discovery + on-chain hygiene
* Collectors who want cosmetic flex inside a retro aesthetic
* Future the token holders who want utility beyond price speculation

## Who It's Not For

* Players under 18 (we hard-gate this in the Terms)
* Anyone in a sanctioned jurisdiction
* Airdrop farmers — rewards are participation-gated by design
* Anyone expecting pre-token allocations or presales — there are none

## What It's Not

* **It's not a casino.** Pure-chance gambling has different mechanics. PvP outcomes are skill-determined; we have anti-cheat detection.
* **It's not custodial in the bank sense.** We hold escrow only for the duration of a PvP match. Your wallet is yours.
* **It's not a launchpad.** We don't take fees from token launches you discover via DEGEN. We just surface them.
