# Fair Launch on Pump.fun

the token launches via **pump.fun's fair-launch mechanism**. Here's what that means.

## What Is a Pump.fun Fair Launch?

Pump.fun is a Solana launchpad with a fixed protocol structure:

* **Total supply:** 1,000,000,000 tokens (1 billion)
* **800M tokens** on a bonding curve (anyone can buy)
* **200M tokens** auto-paired to LP when the curve completes
* **Curve completion:** at \~$69k market cap, the token auto-migrates to PumpSwap with LP **locked permanently**
* **No presale, no team allocation, no insider unlocks** — the protocol structurally doesn't allow them

## What "No Presale / No Team Allocation" Actually Means

It means **no one can pre-allocate tokens before launch**. Not us, not insiders, not anyone.

It does NOT mean Snake OS has no team or no treasury. We do — and we'll buy on the launch curve like everyone else:

## The Snake OS Treasury Buy

At launch hour, the Snake OS treasury wallet will:

* Buy **5–10% of supply** on the bonding curve at deployment
* Cost: \~1.5–3.1 SOL (≈$130–$272 at $87.50/SOL)
* This becomes the **treasury that funds future rewards, buybacks, and operations**
* The wallet address will be **publicly labeled** as "Snake OS Treasury" so every wallet checker sees exactly how much we hold and what we do with it

We're not "the team with a hidden allocation." We're a public buyer on the curve. Transparent.

## Why 5–10% and Not More

Buying more would trip rug-detectors (DexScreener, Birdeye, Sol Sniffer all flag any single wallet above \~15-20%). Less means insufficient treasury for ongoing rewards. 5-10% is the sweet spot: enough to fund ongoing operations, low enough to read as "early believer with skin in the game" not "hidden team allocation."

## Treasury Growth Over Time

Post-launch, the treasury grows organically via:

* App fees (PvP settles, market purchases) → converted to the token via buybacks on PumpSwap
* This means the treasury can reach 30-50% over 6-12 months — and that's HEALTHY, because:
  * Every increase is funded by real app revenue
  * Every buy is on-chain, transparent, traceable
  * The wallet is publicly labeled
  * It's the OPPOSITE of insider extraction — it's product success flowing back to the protocol

## What Happens to the Treasury the token

It funds:

1. **Achievement claim rewards** (the token airdropped when you claim)
2. **PvP buyback distributions** (weekly, to top players)
3. **Holder dividends** (weekly, weighted by holdings × time)
4. **Season prize buybacks** (post-launch may pay in tokens in addition to SOL)
5. **OG / waitlist airdrops** (post-launch, small skin-in-game distributions)
6. **Operations** (gas, KMS, infra)

Nothing goes to "team payouts" — there isn't a team allocation to vest.
